The Tudor 79190 is the last generation of the Tudor Submariner, introduced in 1995 and discontinued in 1999. It features a stainless steel case, an automatic ETA 2824-2 movement, a unidirectional rotating bezel, and a sapphire crystal. Dials were available in black or blue. It has a water resistance of 200 meters. It was considered a moderately priced alternative to the Rolex Submariner. Early models featured glossy dials with painted hour plots, later replaced by luminous-filled white gold applied markers. In 1997, polished steel bezel inserts were introduced.
