The Santos de Cartier watch, large model, is an iconic timepiece born from a friendship between Louis Cartier and aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904. It features a steel case with an 18K yellow gold bezel, a 7-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic spinel, and a silvered opaline dial with blued-steel sword-shaped hands. It is equipped with a mechanical movement with automatic winding, Caliber 1847 MC, and comes with both a steel bracelet with the "SmartLink" adjustment system and a calfskin leather strap, both fitted with the "QuickSwitch" interchangeability system.
