Full Description

This Omega Speedmaster Professional "Snoopy Award" reference 3578.51.00 is a limited edition of 5,441 pieces created in 2003 to commemorate the "Silver Snoopy Award" given to Omega by NASA in 1970 for the Speedmaster's crucial role in saving the Apollo 13 mission. The limited edition number refers to the duration of the mission: 142 hours, 54 minutes, and 41 seconds. The black dial features the "Eyes on the Stars" Snoopy patch on the small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock, and the same patch is found on the sapphire crystal caseback. The watch is powered by the manual-winding Omega Caliber 1861. This model has become a highly sought-after collector's piece.
