Full Description

The Breitling Top Time Chronograph Ref. 815, nicknamed "Long Playing", was introduced by Breitling in 1970 as part of the second generation of Top Time models, positioned as an entry-level chronograph for a younger and more dynamic clientele. This model is known for its 38mm stainless steel case and its manual-winding Valjoux 7736 movement. The "Long Playing" moniker comes from its extended power reserve of 52 hours, achieved with a longer mainspring, and its ability to record events up to 12 hours via the sub-dial at six o'clock. The dial is typically in a "Panda" or "Reverse Panda" configuration, often with a silver sunburst finish and black or dark brown sub-dials, giving it a sporty and elegant look.
